Ela vabana, loobu "eeskirjadest"

"We are born into a society that only knows how to domesticate people, to love people conditionally.
I love you IF you live up to my expectation.
If we live up to the expectation, we get the reward,
and if we don’t live up to the expectation we get the punishment.
Through this system we are domesticated, and through our domestication we unknowingly domesticate others.
We love others conditionally.
We love them if they live up to our ideals.
We internalize this process of domestication, and begin to love ourselves conditionally too.
If we don’t live up to the expectation we get the punishment,
and that punishment usually comes in the form of rejection, of judgment,
and as most of you know, we judge ourselves continuously.
We pretend to be something that we are not for the sake of someone else’s acceptance.
We create a sense of self based on an ideal,
and if we don’t live up to the ideal, we feel our life is worthless.
We create an image of what we are supposed to be,
an image of perfection, something completely free of any flaw.
The function of the ego is to keep that illusion alive, to keep that image up.
It protects that image of who we think we are supposed to be.
We prefer this illusory image over the truth of who we are because it is what we are used to.
It’s how we’ve been trained to think, how we’ve been trained to feel worthy of love.
The only way for us to feel our worth is to reach that ideal,
and that’s a big problem,
because most of us create unrealistic ideals.
We aren’t really living life, we’re not enjoying life, we’re not even enjoying being ourselves.
Can we let go of this image and accept ourselves fully as we are?
Are we willing to see our self for who we are?
Are we willing to stop pretending to be something we’re not?
Regardless of whatever embarrassment, whatever judgement, or whatever flaw, I accept myself as I am.
I am perfect in my imperfection.
The ego won’t accept the flaws.
The ego will continue to create the illusion.
The ego is the instrument we use to keep ourselves blinded from reality, to keep living in an illusion.
But when we let go of the ego, we see ourselves.
We see a unique individual that lives life the best that they can, and is a part of a community, a part of a planet, a part of a universe.
In fact, you are the entire universe expressing itself as an individual human.
You are magical.
You are beautiful.
You are perfect just as you are.
You don’t have to reach some unrealistic ideal to feel loved or to feel worthy.
Let that burden go and just enjoy this precious life.
Excuse the language, but fuck what people think!
Stop living life in fear of others opinions.
Be in love with the fact that you are alive.
You cannot give what you do not have.
So love yourself and share that love with the world 💚🌎"
