"Over time, as you meditate more and more, you become very quiet inside. The internal craziness which you once considered normal has the volume turned right down.
.
You also become conscious of how your own mind works. You start to see your triggers and habit patterns more clearly.
.
It’s not that you don’t get upset or angry anymore, but these emotions just don’t have the same power over you that they once did.
.
Things can still annoy you, but you see the whole thing playing out as mental drama and somehow it just doesn’t have the same bite that it used to. You know it’ll pass, so you allow it.
.
You don’t have to try to act in this way, it happens on its own. It’s a happy side effect meditation. Suddenly those things and people that used to irritate you no longer cause the same spark of emotion."
